M working hard to paint his car--one of the crafts he got for his birthday.
The kids started skating lessons on Tuesday--all ready to go.
They enjoyed watching the high school hockey team practice before their class began.
But even better than that was watching the zamboni.
D just zipped on across the rink as soon as she got on the ice.
M was a little less sure of himself. He had double blades last year, so he was a little unsteady. (Sorry for the cloudy pictures--they were taken through the plexiglass).
One of the first skills they learned was how to get up once you fall down.

This looks like a Santa Claus impression.
D had her church choir Christmas concert on Sunday. It was a really cute program. Sadly, my camera battery died before the show actually started, so my pictures are from when the kids were all lined up on stage for practice.
D was between two of her classmates from school during the photo time.
