Christmas Eve

Papa found an old pinball machine/game of Steve's that the kids just loved playing.

Steve's parents' church has what I consider to be the perfect kids' Christmas service: a 30 minute service with carol singing that tells the story of Jesus' birth and involves the kids as either shepherds or angels. The kids loved getting involved and going up front to be a part of the story. They thought seeing "Mary" and "Joseph" was pretty cool, too. Older kids play the roles of the wise men, Mary and Joseph.

The shepherd wanted a picture with the sheep.

A picture with Mary and Joseph.

Becky and Andy hosted Christmas Eve dinner at their house. Uncle Andy set up the computer for the kids so they could track where Santa was.

All together! Steve with his parents and sisters.

Becky and Andy prepared a wonderful lasagna dinner. Super yummy!

Amy helped the kids pass out the gifts.

Even Santa stopped by to drop off gifts.

The adults get a turn to open gifts. Andy explains how the gift exchange game works.
