Mount Princeton Hot Springs Vacation

The Sunday after school got out, we got up at 3:00 am to start our 16 hour drive to CO to celebrate Gary and Jane's 80th birthdays and 60th wedding anniversary with an all-family reunion at Mount Princeton Hot Springs.

Quality time with Papa and Grandma.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

The kids love having Aunt Becky check out their teeth!

Visiting the Air Force Academy, where cousin Paul works.

The kids try out Aunt Becky's new saxophone with the help of cousin Amy.

Ready to hit the road to Mount Princeton Hot Springs. Need to make our traditional stops at Wilkerson Pass and the Brown Burro.

We're here! Time to celebrate.

The Stiehl clan.

More family pics. Hard to beat that for a background!

The water slide at the hot springs. So much fun!!!

Late night cabin fun after hitting the hot tubs.

More water slide fun.

Taking a family hike up Agnes Falls.

We stopped at the fish hatchery on our way back to the Springs. The kids loved feeding the fish.

Steve took some time to go "sky diving" with his nieces and nephews in Denver.

Ok, sorry, I am having trouble moving pictures to where I want them so these are just staying here. This is the cabin we stayed in with Steve's parents and Aunt Rose. Plus, a few more water slide pictures.

The patriarch and matriarch of the Stiehl's. Thanks so much for such a fun time and for wonderful new memories.

More pictures out of order.

We went horseback riding right by the resort.

D got her own horse and led it all by herself. Her horse's name was Jazz.

M's horse was Mrs. Cash.

Becky's horse was named Chili and Steve's was Tequila.

My horse was Shadow.

View of the resort from the mountain edge where we were riding.

Kissing the horses to thank them after the ride.
